  1. Decks with pictures, icons, and a pitch recipe

    Every deck look now has designed picture slots and icons, pitch decks follow a proven outline, and spreadsheets get two new looks.

    Decks come out looking finished. Every look has room for pictures and icons, and your AI teammate fills them in for you when you don’t bring your own.

    Improvements

    • Every deck look has designed picture slots: a full picture on cover, section, and closing slides, and a split layout for a picture next to text.
    • When you don’t supply pictures, your AI teammate makes a cover picture and one more in the look’s style.
    • Figures, steps, and asks can carry an icon drawn to match the look, and icons export with the deck.
    • Ask for a pitch deck and you get the Boardroom look with a pitch outline. If the facts are thin, your AI teammate asks for them first. Say “just build it” to skip ahead.
    • Short slides sit centered under their title.
    • The slide strip sits under a centered slide, with scroll arrows on hover.
    • Turning a PDF or deck into a web page keeps the text exactly as written and the pictures as separate files, in a single pass.
    • Spreadsheets get Navy Ink and Berry Board looks, plus starters for invoices, content calendars, expenses, and hiring. Look previews show a real workbook.

    Fixes

    • No more false “Deck needs another try” card.
    • The facts card no longer picks Draft now on its own when it times out.
    • Asking again after a hiccup reuses the deck instead of making a duplicate.
    • Pen and box marks on a slide stay see-through, so you can read what is under them.
    • Charts and tables in a reply that carry a title now show up instead of a fallback line.

  2. Watch room answers as they are written

    Room replies stream in as your AI teammate writes them, follow-up messages reach it mid task, and rooms show unread counts and mention badges.

    Rooms now feel as live as a private chat. You can read an AI teammate’s answer while it is being written, and anything you add while it works reaches it right away.

    Improvements

    • AI teammate replies in rooms stream in as they are written.
    • Send another message while an AI teammate is working in a room, and it picks it up without waiting for the next turn.
    • Each room shows an unread count and an @ badge when you are mentioned, and the browser tab title shows when something is unread.
    • Photos shared in a room appear as a grid and open in a full viewer.
    • React with any emoji from the full picker, on desktop and phone.
    • Message actions sit right beside each message.
    • The @ picker groups people and AI teammates in one list.
    • The member list shows recent activity in the room.
    • Ask your AI teammate to tidy up a room for you: rename it, update its brief or icon, start or rename a conversation, post a message, or share one of your files. Each action follows your Permissions settings.

    Fixes

    • A message you send while older history loads stays in view.
    • Messages sent before a room finishes loading keep their order.
    • Mentioning a person right after an AI teammate answers no longer sends your message to that AI teammate too.
    • Streaming replies show clean formatting, never raw markup.

  3. A new sidebar, and a chat that shows its work

    A new sidebar and All chats page, a cleaner chat with notification cards, and an AI teammate that tells you what it is doing as it works.

    Getting around is simpler. The sidebar keeps your main places fixed at the top and your chats and rooms below, and the chat itself has a calmer layout that keeps you informed while your AI teammate works.

    Improvements

    • The new sidebar keeps Home, Marketplace, Workspace, and All chats at the top, with Pinned, Private chats, and Rooms below.
    • Rooms open in place to their latest chats. Reorder them by dragging, and pin a whole room.
    • Hover over a chat to see its last message.
    • All chats on desktop lets you search every chat, filter to what needs you or what is pinned, and group by date or room.
    • Chat has a cleaner, grouped layout on desktop and phone. Files from a conversation open as tabs in the side panel.
    • Notifications arrive as cards at the top of the app. Act on a mention, an approval, or finished work right from the card, and the stack tucks back into the bell when you move on.
    • Search has a new look: recent items when it opens, grouped results with your match highlighted, and keyboard hints.
    • Your AI teammate says what it is about to do within seconds of starting, instead of working in silence.
    • Long jobs like video renders keep running in the background. A live chip shows what is running, for how long, and when it should finish.
    • A command that needs more time keeps going in the background instead of being cut off, and your AI teammate checks in every hour on very long jobs.
    • The Team page is on for every workspace, with one People list and each teammate’s profile.

    Fixes

    • Chat pages fit the screen again, and sending a message takes you straight to it.
    • Moving between rooms and private chats no longer flashes a blank page.
    • The chat keeps your place when the side panel opens, and opens at the latest message.
    • Stop also cancels any work that was queued to continue afterwards.
    • “Delivered N files” counts only the files that actually arrived, and a file that could not be delivered says so first.
    • One request makes one new version of a file, not several in a row.

  4. Edit files together in a room

    Shared Scratchpads update live for everyone in a room, members can edit room files directly, and every room file sits in one Files list.

    Rooms are now a place to write and edit together, not only to talk. Start a Shared Scratchpad and everyone in the room can type in it at once, with your AI teammates suggesting changes alongside you.

    Improvements

    • Create a Shared Scratchpad that everyone in the room can edit at the same time. You see each other’s cursors and who is editing right now.
    • Join someone who is already editing straight from the room header.
    • Files made in a room are editable by members with Can edit, so they can change a room deck directly.
    • Anyone who can edit a file can accept or decline an AI teammate’s suggestion, and the file shows who made each change.
    • Shares, attachments, and source documents now live in one Files list, in the side panel, the sidebar, and each conversation.
    • Post one file to several rooms, and see every room a file lives in.
    • Meeting notes started in a room are kept in the shared document, and the card shows who will see them before you record.
    • The person who made a room file can rename or archive it.
    • Members are notified when someone joins the room or shares a new file.
    • Leaving a room you own asks you to hand it to someone else first, and explains what happens to its files.
    • Attaching a personal file in a room asks you to share it first.
    • Open Share straight from a file card in the Library, and find everything shared with you in Shared with me. Save a shared file to your Library as a live reference.
    • Filter Skills, Routines, and the Library by room.

    Fixes

    • Opening a room file always opens the current version, ready to edit.
    • Meeting notes in a document are kept when your AI teammate revises that document.
    • A request in a room can no longer pull files from your private computer into that room.

  5. Archive instead of delete, and one card per file

    Archive files, Skills, and Routines with an Undo, restore them any time, and keep every version of a file on one card.

    Nothing you make has to disappear by accident anymore. Archive puts a file, Skill, or Routine out of the way, Undo brings it straight back, and anything archived can be restored later.

    Improvements

    • Archive replaces Delete in the menu for files, Skills, and Routines, with a few seconds to Undo.
    • Find everything you archived in the Library’s Archived tab or in Settings, and restore it with one click.
    • Ask for a change to a deck, Word document, or PDF your AI teammate made, and the update lands as the next version of the same file instead of a new card.
    • Cards made from the same file stack into one card with a version badge.

    Fixes

    • Correcting one fact in Memory replaces it instead of keeping both.
    • Changing where a Routine delivers adds the new place instead of replacing the old one.
    • A finished result stays in the bell until you read it.

  6. Meeting notes that write themselves

    Record a meeting inside any document and get a summary, action items, and a transcript split by speaker.

    Start meeting notes from the + menu or type /meeting in a document. Your AI teammate listens, then turns the recording into a short summary, a list of action items, and a full transcript, right where you were writing.

    Improvements

    • Start meeting notes from the + menu on the home page, in a chat, or in a room, or with /meeting in any document.
    • Record up to three hours in one meeting.
    • The transcript is split by speaker, so you can see who said what.
    • Finished notes show as Summary and Transcript tabs, and fold down to a header when you’re done reading.
    • Listen to a spoken recap of the summary.
    • No microphone? Paste a transcript instead and get the same summary.
    • The recording is deleted as soon as it has been transcribed. The transcript stays private to you.

    Fixes

    • A blocked microphone or a recording with no speech now explains what happened on the card.
    • The notes card keeps a comfortable reading width and never traps your cursor.

  7. Start anything from the + menu

    The + menu offers every kind of work as a card, and mockup boards let you compare options and try one in place.

    Starting new work is one click. The + menu in the composer and on the home page shows every kind of thing your AI teammate can make, and a new mockup board lays out options side by side.

    • The home page offers the same set, so you can start from there or from a room.

  8. Edit documents right where they open

    You no longer need to ask your AI teammate for every small change. Documents open ready to type in, and when you ask for more, your AI teammate builds on your version instead of writing over it.

    Improvements

    • Plain documents are editable in place, with a toolbar that stays put and a slash menu for headings, lists, and checklists.
    • Add pictures to any plain document. They come along when you export.
    • Open a scratchpad: a blank page beside the chat for notes you want your AI teammate to work from.
    • When you edit a document and then ask for changes, your edits are kept. If both sides changed the same part, you’re asked which to keep.
    • Decks ask you for the facts only you know, like real numbers or names, instead of inventing them.

    Fixes

    • Typing is no longer lost across a reload, a second tab, or an autosave.
    • A deck edit survives a fast reload.
    • Word export is only offered when the document can actually produce a Word file.
    • Previews show on first open, and designed documents get working share links.

  9. Rooms that keep everyone in the loop

    Mentions show as tags, every member can see the room's asks, and you choose how much each room notifies you.

    Rooms now make it easier to see who is doing what. Mentions read as tags, asks made to an AI teammate are visible to the whole room, and every room shows whether work is running right now.

    Improvements

    • Mentions of people and AI teammates show inline as tags, and the person mentioned gets notified.
    • An ask made in a room is visible to every member, not only the person who made it.
    • Room conversations show live status, so you can see at a glance which ones have work running.
    • Move a private chat into a room when it is ready for the team.
    • Set notifications per room: all activity, only mentions and requests, or off.
    • Members who don’t own a room can now leave it.
    • Open a member’s profile from the people in a room.
    • The bell now shows live work and finished updates. Dismiss any notification, and reach Notifications settings straight from the bell.
    • Give your AI teammate a new color from a refreshed set, and see it everywhere it appears.

    Fixes

    • Removing a room member now asks you to confirm first, from the member’s details.
    • A room message that mentions someone always shows who sent it.
    • Unread conversations show in the room list, and jumping to an older message loads it first.
    • Pinned messages are easier to jump to and to unpin.

  10. Spreadsheets that calculate, and Stop that pauses

    Spreadsheets are now live models with real formulas, Stop pauses work instead of ending it, and every artifact is easier to find, reuse, and roll back.

    Your AI teammate now builds spreadsheets as working models, not pasted numbers. Formulas stay live in the file you download, totals are read back from the built workbook, and asking for a fix edits the same workbook in place.

    Improvements

    • Stop pauses the work instead of throwing it away. Your next message picks up where the run left off, and you can steer it in a new direction.
    • Restore an earlier version of a deck, document, or web page.
    • Find any artifact by name from anywhere, or start a new one from something you made before.
    • Export designed documents as Word files that keep their layout.
    • Workbooks show the selected cell’s contents in a formula bar, and computed cells keep their number format.
    • Web apps your AI teammate builds can now save their own data, so a tracker or a form remembers what people enter.
    • The computer view shows plain language steps instead of a raw terminal.
    • Links in messages show where they really go before you click.
    • Manage rooms from the Rooms page, and choose when a room should notify you.
    • Admins can remove people from the workspace, right from their member details.
    • The Marketplace groups everything into shelves by type, with one toolbar and one Filters panel.

    Fixes

    • Download saves generated images, diagrams, and voice clips instead of opening them in a new tab.
    • Long multilingual artifacts print correctly on any page size, and downloads are named after the artifact.
    • A repeating Routine no longer turns itself off after a quiet limit, and can be switched back on.
    • A new workspace can invite its first member without creating a department.
    • Drive hosted Office files can be read like any other document.

  11. Rooms are open to every team

    Rooms give a group of people and their AI teammates one shared place with memory, files, and defaults, now on for every workspace.

    A room is a shared space for a project, a client, or a team. Everyone in it brings their own AI teammate, and the room keeps the context so nobody has to repeat it. Rooms are now available in every workspace.

    Improvements

    • Every room has a brief, a memory page that stays current as work happens, and a history of how that memory changed.
    • Add context documents to a room and every AI teammate in it can read them.
    • Room files live in a side panel. Share a file from your library into a room, and AI teammates revise room files the way the room is set up to allow.
    • Set room defaults once and they apply to every request made in that room.
    • Mention a teammate’s AI teammate with @ to bring it into the conversation. AI teammates only coordinate with each other inside rooms.
    • When a teammate’s request needs your yes, you hear about it on the channel you chose for reaching you.
    • Share a Skill with a room, and anyone in it can add that Skill to their own library.
    • Ask your AI teammate to create a room, add people, or set room defaults for you.
    • Pin, archive, restore, and duplicate rooms. Archiving explains exactly what is kept.
    • Rename a conversation, give a room its own icon, and see each person next to their AI teammate in the People view.

    Fixes

    • A room request that stalls no longer holds up the room.
    • Someone who left a room can no longer accept its requests.
    • A failed reply disappears once a retry has replaced it.

  12. Decks, documents, and web pages with a real look

    Pick a designed look for decks, documents, and web apps, edit them by chat, and share them outside your company with links you control.

    Everything your AI teammate makes now starts from a designed look instead of a blank page. Pick one from Home or the Marketplace, describe what you need, and get something you would actually send.

    Improvements

    • New deck looks: TalentOS (now the default), Swiss, Calm Neobrutalism, Blue Hour, Pastel Lines, and Operations Update.
    • Documents have looks too, starting with Clarity. PDF is folded into Document, and every designed document exports as a PDF.
    • Web apps get five looks of their own, and the Web app option now sits in the main make row on Home.
    • Ask for changes in chat and your AI teammate edits the deck you already have, replacing or inserting whole slides when needed.
    • Export a deck from one menu, with a preview while it is being prepared.
    • Share a deck outside your company and attach its PPTX, or share any artifact to a Slack channel.
    • Share links can expire. Choose how long a link lasts, renew it, and see which links need attention.
    • Browse every look in the Marketplace, where presentations can be added as editable copies.
    • Report a bug from inside the app and paste screenshots straight into the form.

    Fixes

    • A deck opened from chat has a clear way back.
    • A designed document always opens to its design, never a missing file message.
    • Asking for a “document” no longer drops you into a plain Word file by accident.
    • The Download menu no longer wraps every row.

  13. Watch your AI teammate browse, and let it finish the job

    A live browser pane shows every page your AI teammate visits, long jobs no longer hit a time wall, and you can choose how hard it thinks.

    When your AI teammate goes to the web, you can now follow along. A browser pane opens beside the chat with the page it is on, the cursor it is moving, and a timeline you can scrub back through once the run is done.

    Improvements

    • The browser pane is resizable, shows real tabs and an address bar, and keeps a timeline of the pages your AI teammate visited.
    • Opening an empty browser tab lets you type a task and start a run from there.
    • Long jobs keep going as long as they are making progress. The old 30 and 60 minute limits are gone, replaced by a 4 hour ceiling on idle waiting.
    • A run that stalls picks up from its last checkpoint instead of starting over, and sends you a partial report if it still cannot finish.
    • Choose a thinking mode for your AI teammate, from quick answers to deeper reasoning on harder work.
    • Google Maps results show up as an interactive map with rated pins and a strip of places.
    • Google Tasks is now a full connector: read your lists, then create, update, move, and complete tasks.
    • Routines accept a typed schedule, so “every weekday at 9” lands exactly where you meant it.
    • New conversations start faster, because a warm computer is ready before you ask.

    Fixes

    • Delivered results lead with the decision or the answer, not a recap of what was done.
    • Your AI teammate acts by default and asks at most one question per turn when it truly needs you.

  14. Your AI teammate now has a desktop home

    The new macOS desktop beta keeps TalentOS close, with native notifications, automatic updates, and smoother work across chat and Slack.

    The TalentOS desktop app is now available in beta for macOS. Like the TalentOS CLI, it is an early release, and we are shipping improvements quickly. Open it from your Dock, hand off real work, then return when your AI teammate lets you know the result is ready. Download the desktop beta.

    Improvements

    • Sign-in opens in your default browser, then brings you back to the desktop app without losing your place.
    • Native notifications let you step away from a run and return when the work is ready.
    • The app remembers your last location, opens TalentOS links in the right place, and applies updates quietly when you quit.
    • You can keep typing while work is running. New requests wait in an editable queue, and you can steer a queued message into the current turn when it belongs there.
    • Diagrams now render directly in chat. You can expand them, copy the source, or download a PNG, while Slack, Telegram, and iMessage receive the finished image.
    • Slack replies now fit the result, with clearer receipts, lists, files, charts, and tappable choices instead of one long block of text.

    Fixes

    • Stopping a run keeps the useful part of the answer that was already written, with a one-tap way to try again.
    • Slack progress updates now settle cleanly when work finishes or stops, even when delivery is delayed.
    • Empty final replies after tool work now retry instead of leaving the conversation without an answer.
    • Desktop notification sounds fall back cleanly when a Mac cannot use the preferred audio path.

  15. Talk to your AI teammate wherever work happens

    Voice notes now work across Slack, Telegram, and iMessage, with clearer activity, better Routines, and stronger files.

    Your AI teammate can now hear you in the channels where your team already works. Send a voice note in Slack, Telegram, or iMessage. It turns the audio into a normal request, does the work, and can send a voice reply when audio is the right format.

    Improvements

    • Routines now have both list and week views, so you can scan recurring work or see when each run is scheduled.
    • When a request needs a tool you have not connected, your AI teammate can give you a direct connection card inside the chat.
    • Slack conversations carry more useful context. Your AI teammate can recognize people mentioned in a thread, read the surrounding discussion, and remove a message it posted when you ask.
    • Activity cards now show the original request from Slack, Telegram, or iMessage instead of an empty placeholder.
    • Presentation tables with clear numeric data can become native charts in the finished deck.
    • Spreadsheet formulas stay live in downloaded XLSX files, and the preview shows the calculated result.
    • Console pages now have clearer breadcrumbs, a sidebar that expands on hover, and a scrollable list for all your pinned chats.

    Fixes

    • iMessage reactions and replies arrive faster, with safer retry handling when delivery is slow.
    • Voice replies no longer leave behind apology text or a pointer to another service when the audio was delivered.
    • Slack voice notes recover when the audio and the run finish at nearly the same time.
    • Daily Briefing runs at 7:00 AM in each workspace’s local time.
    • Connection cards stay visible long enough to confirm that the new account is ready.
    • Routines no longer show a false failure while a retry is still in progress.
